To Infinity

We'll get there someday....

Go Forth

I love this commercial. I've seen it the last two times I went to a movie and it's gorgeous. If they had a different voice it would've gone in my top favorites but it just doesn't make the hairs on my arm stand up. The film itself is beautiful though and so it's worth a mention.

One other comment: while I still respond positively to this commercial, I think this nostalgic feeling is being overworked in advertising as of late. It has that same Dos Equis, Vespa, etc. tone and I've seen a lot of student work trying to do it as well. It's almost time to put this technique down for a while.

Gentle Indiiference

A sketch I did in Alaska, brought to life in Illinois.

Chicago, my friend.

I haven't been fair to this wonderful city in past posts. To compare it to Alaska is unfair both to Chicago and Alaska. Chicago is where I fit in. The speed, the work ethic, the jazz, art, architecture, etc.

But how I miss Alaska....

Color Me Delicious!

I know a lot of people in the class are getting sick of their product, but to be honest, I love bon appetit even more now. I've learned so much about food on this journey. One more weekend to work on it. I hope I love all my products this much, or that they inspire so many ideas.

Love you bon!

Food for Thought

We had 3 campaign ideas due last week for our product. Tomorrow, we have to adjust one campaign and bring in an entirely new one. This is what came to me. Hopefully it goes over well.

With the time it takes me to do all the research, immerse myself in the strategy and then pop out a good idea, all I have time to do is make sure I can execute it in Photoshop and try to put the basics together so hopefully I can come up with some solid copy tomorrow night.

Below are the adjusted 3:

I was told to nix the Salt & Pepper since it's not food (though it was my favorite) and change the tagline. I didn't really have time to really think too much about it, so hopefully tomorrow night, if this one doesn't go over well, you'll see something crazy brilliant!

 **NEW: EGGS & BACON!!
