Book Blogs and Recommendations

As a result of all the publicity research I do for my publishing company, I have gotten into book blogs lately. One that I've recently stumbled onto is LC's Adventures in Libraryland. She's doing an ARC and swag giveaway that I encourage you to enter if you're interested in YA fiction.

In the spirit of book recommendations, I've been reading Thomas Pynchon's "Against the Day." For those interested in turn of the century tales, the Industrial Revolution and a touch of fantasy, I highly recommend it. I've been laughing since the first page. Beautifully written with a compelling story and a wonderful mixture of reality and imagination.

Along the Green Wood Path

If I could live in a small cottage in the English countryside with the sea on one side and a lush forest on the other, a stack of books to keep me company in the winter and a wood burning fireplace to curl around in the evening, I daresay I would be the happiest of souls.
