In the Inbetween

This is why I love the internet....

And this is why I love getting away from it...







Chinese fire lanterns chasing the setting sun into the horizon. 
I ran, swam, kayaked, climbed sand dunes, mudded walls, hammered nails and scraped paint this weekend. I listened to war stories over beach fires, fell asleep to Billie Holiday, and read the poetry of Robert W. Service ("the Bard of the Yukon"). It's wonderful to escape, to work with your hands, to see the stars with your own eyes. 
To live in the inbetween.
